Few can forget the obsessive stalker that Shah Rukh Khan played in Darr. Fans of this Yash Chopra classic can now rejoice. 22-years after the Juhi Chawla, Sunny Deol hit wowed audiences, television actor Karanvir Bohra is set to reprise the role that established SRK's inarguable prowess as the anti-hero.

The television actor has acquired the remake rights of the film for his Bollywood debut. Known for playing edgy characters on the small screen, Bohra has huge shoes to fill with Darr. Will he do justice to the role? Only time will tell.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Karanvir said:

"I can't reveal anything about the story at the moment, but I can tell you that TV director Lalit Mohan took a break from shows for a year to concentrate on the pre-production of this film and a team of writers worked with him on the script."

The film is expected to go on floors in December this year and will be shot at Mumbai and Manali. The producers are currently working to finalise actors to play the roles essayed by Juhi Chawla and Sunny Deol.
