Rani Mukerji Birthday: Do you know 'Hichki' actress was the first choice for 'Lagaan' and 'Munna Bhai MBBS'
Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is waiting for the grand comeback on the silver screen with her film Hichki that is going to release on 23rd March 2018. However, the Hichki actress Rani is celebrating her birthday today on 21st March as she turns 40 years old today. The actress doesn't need an identity to tell that she was a superstar at a time in the films.
Now when she is married she is trying hard to get the same name fame in films. Rani Mukerji made her Bollywood debut with the film Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat (1997), however, this film was a flop but Rani got identity through 1998 released films Gulaam starring opposite Aamir Khan and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Rani Mukerji is one of those actresses who had worked with all three Khans Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan. The interesting thing is that she is close to all three Khans, even she had worked with another Khan Saif Ali Khan in hit films like Hum Tum, Ta Ra Rum Pum. She won Filmfare award for her performance in Hum Tum (2004).

However, she is a star so that no one should not be shocked to know that she had rejected several films including Hollywood one also. Rani rejected Irrfan Khan starrer Hollywood film Namesake just because that time she was busy shooting her close friend Karan Johar's film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. On the other hand, she also rejected films like Rajkumar Hirani directorial Munna Bhai MBBS and Ashutosh Gowariker's film Lagaan. Well, on her birthday we can only wish for the grand comeback of the actress at silver screens with Hichki.
