Well, we have got to know that Siddhant was also in the talks with producer Karan Johar for Dostana 2. According to a source of Bollywood Hungama, he had some meetings with makers but he was not keen to do that role. One of the reasons why he turned down the role was because he is not keen to do any double hero film currently, as he is just focusing on leading hero films these days.
For those who are not aware let us tell you that Karan Johar has announced the sequel of Dostana. Earlier there were the reports that Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor may cast in the sequel. However, finally, Karan announced Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in the leading roles.
