Good News! Kiara Advani joins Akshay Kumar for Kanchana Hindi remake 'Laxmi'

The reports of Akshay Kumar is making a remake of another south horror-comedy Kanchana after Bhool Bhulaiyaa is rounding since a long time. Now finally some confirmations has come out for the fans of Akshay Kumar. According to a report media reports, the film will be directed by Raghava Lawrence who also directed the original one.

The media reports suggest that Akshay Kumar's co-star from his next film Good News, Kiara Advani has been signed opposite him in Kanchana Hindi remake. The film also gets a title and it is Laxmi.

 

DNA qouted a source by confirming the news, "While Akshay plays the protagonist who gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender, Kiara will portray the superstar's girlfriend in the movie. Although the female lead did not have a significant role in the original version, Kiara will enjoy a substantial part in the adaptation."

The source also told that there will be some changes in the Hindi version of the film taking the audience in the mind. The report also added that earlier three actresses Katrina Kaif, Sobhita Dhulipaala and Kiara Advani were considered for the leading lady role but finally its Kiara who won the project. Akshay Kumar's biggest hit film Rowdy Rathore's producer Shabina Khan will back 'Laxmi'.

The shooting of the film will start soon and it will be completed in one schedule as Akshay is already busy with some amazing projects. Let us tell you that after Kesari success, Akshay is going to be seen in films like Good News, Housefull 4, and Mission Mangal. The interesting thing is that Akshay has not given a single flop since 2016, his all films have done amazing collection at the box office.
