Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been hitting the headlines ever since Brahmastra was announced. This will be lovebirds’ first appearance on-screen and their fans are going berserk as the release date of the first instalment is coming near. However, do you know that Brahmastra was not supposed to be their first film together?
No, then let us tell you! Before Ayan Mukerji, Imtiaz Ali approached the lover birds for a film together. As we all Ranbir acted in two of Imtiaz’s film namely Rockstar and Tamasha while Alia acted in Imtiaz’s directorial Highway. After seeing their acting skills Imtiaz thought of bringing the two actors together. He narrated the film and they both agreed too however soon the film got shelved as they both were not sure about it.
Well, as it is said destiny has its own ways then here they are coming together in Ayan’s Brahmastra because they were destined to work together. Talking about the film apart from Alia and Ranbir the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy among others. The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role.
The film which is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Production is all set to release the first instalment of the film on 4th December however, with the pandemic in action it looks impossible. It seems even this year the film will not release and the fans would have to wait for long.
