Coronavirus has created havoc all over the world, talking about India the deadly pandemic has spread its claws all over the country, hence resulting in a nationwide lockdown. Because of this, it has put a halt on all public gathering including theatres that are shut from a long time and we think that it will continue to remain shut till the cases decrease.

As big movies such as Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi, Salman Khan's Radhe, Ranveer Singh's 83 among others have come to a halt. Though Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb has made its way to OTT Platform, however, these films are still waiting for the theatres to open.


As per reports, trade analysts think that when the theatres will open later this year 3 films I. E. Sooryavanshi, Radhe and Coolie No 1 might clash on box office e during Diwali release. Well, makers are yet to decide on the films' new release date, however, analysts are of the thought that these 3 biggies will clash on box-office as they are massy entertainers with action, emotion and drama — the kind of films that people enjoy watching during the biggest festival of the year.

Speaking to the tabloid, trade analyst Atul Mohan was quoted saying, “Diwali is six months down the line, hopefully, normalcy will be restored by then. It was the original festive window before Bollywood started releasing films over Eid, Christmas and Republic Day weekends. There are enough theatres to release three big movies.”

Not just Atul Mohan in fact distributor Raj Bansal also said that Diwali is the safest bet for big movies. However, he warned that producers should not consider releasing more than two films as they might eat into each other's profits.

Well, only time will tell whether the cinema halls will open or not and which films will get the chance to release on the Diwali week. Till then stay at home and stay safe.
