Dishoom, starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, managed to record a growth of 10% at the Box Office on 30 July, taking its two-day collections to Rs 23 crore.

While the collections recorded a hike in the metros, mass circuits reported a drop.

Day-wise Box Office collection of Dishoom:

  • Friday (29 July): Rs 11.05 crore
  • Saturday (30 July): Rs 12.10 crore (Estimate)
  • Total: Rs 23.15 crore (Estimate)

The film is expected to witness a jump in collections on 31 July. However, the collections from Monday on will determine the fate of the action-heavy film. In order to be labelled a Box Office hit, the action comedy will need to rake in collections close to the Rs 100 crore mark.

Sultan Box Office collections

On the other hand, Salman Khan's Sultan is inching close to the Rs 300 crore mark at the Box Office. The 25-day collections of the film stands at Rs 295.50 crore. Sultan is expected to collect close to Rs 1.50 crore on 31 July - a feat which will take the total to Rs 297 crore.

The film is already a blockbuster and now looks to enter the Rs 300 crore club - the third Bollywood film to do so after PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
