Anil Kapoor calls Muabrakan as his emotional experience

Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor launched the trailer of their film

 Real life uncle and nephew Anil and Arjun Kapoor are going to play uncle and nephew on the screen in Mubarakan. Anil had suggested Arjun’s name for the film to the makers. During the launch of the film when Anil was asked about working with Arjun for the first time he said, “He is my brother’s son and more like my son.It was an emotional experience to work with him. It is going to be one of his biggest films.”

 Arjun who plays a  double role in the film says, “It was a tough role as my character is shown to be conversing with another person constantly who is also me. So I would shoot a scene and then I had to do it again with different dialogues. My writers have helped me a lot but this is story is not about mistaken identity and therefore I had to shoot a lot. “

 Asked him about working with Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty, he says, “Ileana has done comedy before, so she would always be prepared for her scenes. It was good to have a co-actor like that because when you play double role you already have to work little extra than others. She has done some action sequences too in the film. As far as Athiya is concerned, it was a learning experience for her as it is her second film and to be able to be part of her journey was interesting. Her character is the only straight and simple character in the film.”

 The film is slated to release in July and is directed by Anees Bazmee. It also stars Neha Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah, Pawan Malhotra and others.
