A few years ago Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn announced the sequel to his super hit film Son of Sardaar called Sons of Sardaar. The film was supposed to be based on Battle of Saragarhi and Ajay Devgn was very excited for this film, he wanted to make this film on a grand scale. But he got shocked when Akshay Kumar announced his film on the same subject with the collaboration of Karan Johar.

Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar announced their film called Kesari on the same subject and now the shooting of the film already has started. While on the other hand, Rajkumar Santoshi also announced his film Battle of Saragarhi taking Randeep Hooda in the leading role.

Recently when Ajay Devgn was asked about the progress of his film on the Battle of Saragarhi then said now the film is on hold. Ajay Devgn clearly said there is mean to make this film in this time when two other films are already being made on it.

However, Ajay Devgn has not gone down as he has already made an announcement of making another period film. A few months ago he announced that he will make a film Maratha Warrior Tanaji and this will be high in terms of action and grandiosity. The film is supposed to release on Diwali 2019 and it can clash with Akshay's another film Housefull 4.
