After Padmavati, has Shahid Kapoor signed up for Vikas Bahl's Super 30?

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently on a sabbatical to celebrate the birth of his daughter, has reportedly agreed to be a part of Vikas Bahl's next.

According to reports, Bahl's upcoming project - tentatively titled Super 30 - is a biopic of mathematician Anand Kumar, the brains behind the Super 30 programme for students.

According to reports, Shahid was impressed with the premise of the film. Bahl is currently working on developing a screenplay out of the idea. The film is expected to go on floors by mid-2017.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is also expected to start work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.

What is the Super 30 Programme?

Mathematician Anand Kumar established the Super 30 initiative in 2002. Under the programme, 30 meritorious and talented candidates from economically backward class are selected every year and trained for the IIT-JEE entrance exam.
