On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan gave zero hour notice in Rajya Sabha wherein she lashed out at BJP MP Ravi Kisan and Kangana Ranaut over an alleged conspiracy to tarnish the image of the film industry. Her statement was in response to Ravi Kisan who had on Monday raised the issue of the use of drugs in the film industry.
Now, in support of Jaya, several Bollywood celebs have come out such as Taapsee Pannu, Anubhav Sinha, Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor among others. They backed the veteran actress’ statement and called her ‘spine’ of industry. Whereas, on the other hand, Sonam was in awe of her and taking to Twitter she wrote, I want to be her when I grow up..’ (sic)

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut to reacted on Jaya Bachchan’s statement wherein she can be seen attacking the actress along with MP Ravi Kisan. Taking to her Twitter she wrote, “Jaya Ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenage, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also Folded hands.”
