It will not be shocking if we will say that this year Akshay Kumar was the most bankable star of Bollywood. The superstar is giving back to back blockbuster films in his career and he is now officially reached a level of superstardom same as Khans. Now he is also going to be seen in the biggest film of his career till now 2.0, the sequel to Rajinikanth starrer film Robot.

Well, during the audio launch of 2.0 host Karan Johar called Akshay Kumar a superstar and also called him a hit machine. He also asked Akshay about his experience working with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.

Akshay Kumar immediately corrected Karan Johar and said 'If You are calling me a superstar in front of Rajini sir then it is a huge disrespect of the superstar. Actually, real superstar is Rajinikanth sir'.

This is to notice that this is going to happen for the first time in Akshay Kumar's career that he is doing a Tamil film and that too for the first time he is playing leading villain in the film. Although he has played the villain in his own films many times where he himself was also playing hero like International Khiladi and others.

The film 2.0 is slated to hit the screens on 27th April 2018, in the same week where the Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 was released. The makers of 2.0 want to recreate the same history what Baahubali 2 did. Well, it is to notice that Baahubali 2 was the biggest blockbuster of Hindi cinema and the interesting thing is that it was a dubbed version.
