There are lots of rumours are going on about Salman Khan's next film after Dabangg 3 that will release on Eid 2020. It all started after Salman Khan made exit from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next Inshallah and he announced that it is not happening now. However, with that information, Salman Khan also announced that he will still see his audience on Eid.

There were the reports that Salman Khan will come back with his Kick franchise and Kick 2 may release on Eid 2020. However, after a few weeks, director and producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed that Kick 2 won't be able to release on Eid 2020 as lots of work has remained in terms of story and script.

Now reports are coming that director Aanand L Rai who made Zero with Shah Rukh Khan has approached Salman Khan for a comedy film. The film will revolve around two lookalikes and it will be a comedy one. Salman Khan earlier had played a double role in David Dhawan's blockbuster Judwaa.

Bollywood Hungama quoted a source by saying, “It’s an out-and-out comedy action entertainer and a con story based in Uttar Pradesh. Like Judwaa, Salman’s character (if he gives his nod to it) will have a double role. Imagine, two not one Salman Khans on Eid! Salman and Aanand have worked together in Zero when the super star worked with Shah Rukh Khan in the song ‘Issaqbaazi’. It was during this time that both Salman and the filmmaker figured out a certain comfort level and had discussed doing a film together. But Salman’s date diary in 2019 was full with Bharat, Dabangg 3 and Inshallah – till SLB’s decision was announced."

"Salman is keen to announce a movie on Eid 2020 as that is his day. His fans want it and it becomes a huge release at the box-office. When Aanand heard that Inshallah wasn’t happening with Salman, he approached him with a script which he will direct. While it’s a comedy, it will have its unique emotional twist, as Aanand’s films have. If they do decide to go ahead with this movie, Aanand and Salman will both produce it. Both are discussing the script, dates and other issues and everything is under wraps right now. Once Dabangg 3 gets complete, Salman can give his dates to any movie he wants. Aanand’s movie is the comedy that everyone has been speculating about.” source added.
