Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra recently became a rapper for his upcoming movie 'A Gentleman' and made the fans curious as to how the actor would sound singing for the first time.
Yesterday, the makers of the movie unveiled the making of the song and on Wednesday a new video is released, where Sidharth is seen recording the rap in style.
In the video, the 'Baar Baar Dekho' star is seen recording for the song and discussing with the music director duo of Sachin-Jigar.
Sidharth shared the video by tweeting, "This rap made the song special for me thanks to @SachinJigarLive #BandookMeriLaila @foxstarhindi @TSeries."
The actor looked pumped up and totally elated while recording the song.
The composers were totally impressed with Sid's baritone and had no inhibitions on recording the rap with him.
Earlier, Sachin Sanghavi said it was his idea to get Sidharth to rap because the actor understands the genre of hip hop and raps to a great extent.
He said, "We discussed a lot about music in general in the studio and if given a chance once again we would love to collaborate with him again. He has a baritone voice which is hard to miss. We are very excited with the kind of music we have scored for 'A Gentleman'. It's very experimental and diverse and we are touching upon every genre possible."
Helmed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru, ' A Gentleman' stars Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 25 August.
