Viral Video: Man throws dog in lake; netizens call it disgusting
An inhumane act video has been doing the rounds on social media, in which a man can be seen throwing a dog in a lake. The video has allegedly been shot on the banks of Bada Talab in Bhopal.
After the video went viral on social media, police took cognizance of the video and then arrested the man.
According to PTI reports, the culprit was identified as Salman, has been arrested after a case was registered against him for his awful act.
The incident took place at Boat Club near Van Vihar on the banks of the lake, also called Bada Talab.
In the viral video, Salman can be seen picking up a stray dog, and then he throws the dog into the lake. After throwing the dog from the bridge, the man starts giggling and looking at the person filming the act.
In the background of the video, a song from Hindi movie Commando 3 can be
heard.
As per reports by Hindustan Times, Salman has a history of animal violence.
After this predatory video became viral on social media, Bhopal Deputy Inspector General of Police Irshad Wali said, “We have taken cognizance of this video which went viral on social media. We are taking action in this matter.”
Also, a case was registered against the man under Indian Penal Code section 429 (mischief by killing or maiming any animal), said Additional Superintendent of Police Ramsanehi Mishra.
Meanwhile, the video has created an uproar on social media. Netizens have been demanding strict action should be taken against the culprit.
