Passersby call firefighters to rescue woman hanging off cliff; what happens next is weird

A bizarre incident took place in California where a passerby called firefighters after he saw a woman in danger. The photo of the woman also went viral on social media.

Onlookers spotted a woman hanging off a cliff at the Hope Ranch Beach in Santa Barbara in California. The woman can be seen in a red dress with messy hair.

After spotting the woman, people at the Ranch beach got panic and they called 911 for her rescue. The Emergency crew reached the spot and carried out the rescue mission. However, they left stunned after finding that the woman was not an actual human being but it was a mannequin that was left behind after a movie shooting.

The peculiar incident came to light when the Public Officer at the Santa Barbara Country shared the story on Twitter that they started receiving phone calls around 4 pm about a woman hanging 30 feet down a cliff. Therefore, the team rushed to the place along with Utility Terrain Vehicles, fire engines trucks, and also a drone. The firefighters' team also conducted a thermal check wherein heat radiating from the body was also observed.

The photo of the same was also shared by the Information Officer along with a tweet.
