In a shocking incident that came to light from South Australia where a woman was a homicide in her Adelaide home, police confirmed.
Shockingly, she cried for help as she was attacked and assaulted by a killer. The 35-year-old woman who was the mother of three found dead on the floor at the Morphett Vale property on Thursday, 9news reports claimed.
Now, her 38-year-old estranged partner has been charged with her murder. Detective Superintendent Des Bray said the motive behind homicide was not known yet. However, her neighbours had reported hearing a disturbance at the home the night before.
"An altercation was heard. A person threatening to kill the occupant and at one point a female was heard to cry for help," he said.
Supt Bray said the woman died a "really horrible, violent death".
"She had an injury to her body which is unexplained. It was a sufficient injury to leave an amount of blood at the scene," he said.
However, witnesses had informed detectives about the disturbance at the home. But, it was a sad reflection of the society that no one called police when the woman needed help.
Police officials said the man charged with the murder had approached the police cordon at the home last night to enquire about the woman's welfare.
Meanwhile, the police are probing the matter.
