Pakistan: 5 cops killed as armed bandits attack police camp in Ghotki

A group of armed dacoits attacked a police camp in Ghotki city in Sindh on November 5 and killed five policemen, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and two station house officers (SHO).

The incident took place in the Kacha area of Ubauro in Ghotki, located in northern Sindh, according to a report by Geo News.


Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Javed Jiskani informed that the police camp was set up in Kacha to recover the hostages from the Ronti area. He further said that more than 150 armed dacoits attacked the police camp, as reported by the Geo News.

After the dreadful attack, heavy troops have been dispatched to the Kacha area. The robbers still have the bodies of the deceased police officers, Geo News reported citing the police.
