Kanye West's concert on 2 October at the Meadows Festival in New York's Citi Field stadium was cut short, as he was whisked off stage, citing a 'family emergency'. The family emergency turned out to be the shocking news of his wife, socialite Kim Kardashian being held at gunpoint in her hotel room in Paris.
Reports suggest that Kim K was in her hotel room in Paris, when two masked men dressed at policemen barged in, held her at gunpoint and robbed her.
The internet phenomenon, Kim Kardashian was reportedly robbed of jewellery worth millions of dollars, with certain newsreports claiming that there were five masked armed men, instead of two.
While no physical harm was caused to her, Kardashian was left shaken in the aftermath of the incident, her spokesperson said.

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," spokesperson Ina Treciokas told CNN.
Kanye West stopped his act at the Meadows Festival in New York midway, and was whisked away after citing a 'family emergency'.
