At least three people were killed and several others injured when a commuter train derailed at the O Porriño railway station in the Spanish province of Galicia on 9 September.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 am local time. The train derailed as it was entering the station and collided into a lamp post adjacent to the tracks.
According to local media reports, three people have been confirmed dead, while a fourth person has been hospitalised and is said to be in a critical condition.Renfe, the company responsible for the train services confirmed the incident on Twitter and expressed its condolences towards the victims and their families.
