There are times when your friends or your colleagues play a very important role in your love life as they are the only ones who initiate from either side and gives the courage to either the girl or the boy to speak the heart out and when it comes to our TV celebrities, the shows in which they work play a major role.
There is one such show that has been running on the small screen from quite a long time and has managed to gather a lot of love from the viewers and yes we are talking about the show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' that airs on Star Plus. The show has given us the much needed 'sanskars' and entertainment and have even given us some real life couples.
The show has changed the quote 'rishtey upar wala banata hai' to 'rishtey show banata hai' in the correct sense. There are six couples who have fallen in love with each other during the course of the show and are still going strong. One such example is that of Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal who just made their relationship public during the popular reality show Bigg Boss 11.
Talking about Hina, she played the character of 'Akshara' the 'adarsh bahu, beti, biwi' in the show and at that time Rocky was the supervising producer of the show. During the course of YRKKH, they kept their relationship a private affair but opened up about the same during Salman Khan's reality show.

1. Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan
Shivangi and Mohsin have been playing the popular characters of ‘Naira’ and ‘Kartik’ on the show and not only on the reel but in the real life too they are a couple. They fell in love with each other by spending a lot of time together on the sets and doing the romantic scenes and a few months back they even admitted their love for each other.
2. Rohan Mehra and Kanchi Singh
The next couple in line is Kanchi Singh and Rohan Mehra who played the roles of cousins on the show but in real life are in love with each other. They denied the news by calling it rumors but when Rohan joined Bigg Boss, he announced themselves as couple. During an interview Rohan said, “We cannot avoid controversies, they are bound to happen. And it is natural also. But I am already in a relationship. I'm dating my Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Kanchi Singh and I am very clear in my mind about it. I am not looking for love inside the house."
3. Rishi Dev and Mohena Singh
Rishi Dev and dancing diva, Mohena have never confirmed but are dating each other which is quite evident from the secret dates on which they go together. They play the characters of Kirti and Naksh in the popular show. A closed source from the show has earlier said, “Their bond is becoming stronger by the day. The duo is more than ‘just friends' now and everyone on the set is aware about their growing fondness for each other."
4. Priyanka Udhwani and Anshul Pandey
Unlike the rest, Priyanka and Anshul have never tried to shy away with their love from others and during an interview, Anshul said, “Yes, we have been dating for over two years now.” Now that Anshul has left the show, the love between them has not changed yet.
5. Sanjeev Seth and Lata Sabharwal
Last but not the least, the reel life couple, Lata Sabharwal and Sanjeev Seth who played the role of Akshara's parents Rajshri and Vishamber Maheshwari too fell in love in real life and quickly got married to each other and welcomed their first kid after two years of their marriage.
