Yes, it's true speaking to Pinkvilla, Karan opened up on his depression day and said that only because of his wife Bipasha Basu and his family he battled the depression bravely. On the eve of Mental Health Day, Karan talked about depression at the length where he explained the reasons, roots of this mental health.

He said that it was a tough journey for him as well as his loved ones and was there whenever he needed them. He further went on to say that people should accept that they are dealing with depression and should talk about it so that people around the person can cure it. He also pointed out the reason that any kind of stress whether it is related to money or pressure in professional life these things can turn into depression and can also lead to suicidal threats.
