Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma: Shocking! Is Disha Vakani aka Dayaben being replaced with Ami Trivedi?
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is one of the consistent peforming shows of the small screen. The show has been doing fine on the BARC TRP charts since a long time so much so that it will complete 11 years in July but a shock to the makers as well as the fans came when Dayaben of the show aka Disha Vakani wrnt on a maternity leave for a long time. However not much difference was seen after her exit but soon reports of her leaving the show started coming but there wasn't any announcement.
The makers have been trying really hard to call her back but there was nothing that they've heard from her and now it seems as if they are ready to move forward without her. It is being said that they have approached actress Ami Trivedi for the same role. The actress has denied any such reports but sources close to the shoe have informed that the makers have her name in discussion.
Talking about the same, Ami informed a portal, "No, I have not been approached, but my friends have been telling me that I should take up the role and would suit the character. I have not been offered the role, nor the makers have tried to reach me out."
Not only this when she was asked if she'll accept the role or not she said it is a really big responsibility to fit well into th shoes of Disha. Moreover she said that it is for sure that any actor who would join the show in her place would receive bricks and stones because Vakani has been associated with the show for quite long. Further she said, "I can't comment on your question till the time I am approached the show. Once the makers offer me the role, I will be in a better position to talk."
Talking about her past, Ami has been part of various shows such as Kituu Sab Janti Hai, Kumkum - Pyara Sa Bandhan, Jaane Kya Baat Hui, Khichdi, Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Papad Pol, Chidiya Ghar and Saat Pheron Ki Hera Pherie.
