Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham TV remake? Here's what Ekta Kapoor has to say about the show

From quite a long time, it is being said that producer Ekta Kapoor is planning to bring one of the most popular movies of Bollywood, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham on the Television screens. Not only this she is also coming up with a lot of interesting concepts like Naagin 3, Qayamat Ki Raat, Yeh Hai Chahate, Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii season 2 etc on the small screen.

The makers of Naagin 3 even launched a new teaser of the show that saw Karishma Tanna and Rajat Tokas romancing each other that grabbed the attention of many of the fans of the show. Well, talking about the TV remake of K3G, the speculations about the same got more strong when Ekta, in one of his tweets wrote that she is making a family drama.

Some reports on the internet even started doing rounds on the internet that claimed about the various actors and actresses being chosen for the show but it seems as if this good news will turn into bad news for all the followers as the producer herself has cleared all the air regarding the same.

Ekta, today took to her Twitter account and tweeted about the same show and she clearly said NO to any such type of show. She tweeted, “I’m not making Kabhi Khushi Kabhi gum! I’m making a about rich family that own a pharmaceutical business ! The story is completely diff!! Soon on. SONY!” [sic]

About the show, it was being said that many actors such as Varun Sood, Erica Fernandes, Rajat Tokas, Bijoy Anand (Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha actor) and Yogita Bihani, the girl who was seen in the promo of Dus Ka Dum (Salman Khan's upcoming show) have been confirmed for the show but now Ekta has refused making any sort of show.

Meanwhile, it is also being said that Ekta has thought of bringing the story of Kamasutra and the Indian version of Game Of Thrones on her digital platform ALT Balaji.
