Ishqbaaaz: Not with Drashti Dhami of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka but with a new face, here's when the show will take a leap; see video
Star Plus's one of the famous daily soap Ishqbaaaz has been under the radar of controversies from quite some time now. It all began when reports about the leading actors leaving Nakuuk Mehta (who plays the role of Shivaay) including Anika aka Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Leenesh Mattoo, Mansi Srivastava and Shrenu Parikh. Later this a lot of Surbhi's fans started protesting on the social media over the sudden decision of the producer Gul Khan to make her leave the show.
The reports suggest that the post their exit the makers planned to take a generation leap where the story of the show would now revolve around Shivaay and Anika's son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi, who will eventually fall for a girl around whom the story will revolve. Talking about the actress opposite Nakuul, it was being said that either Sanaya Irani or Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka actress Drashti Dhami would play the role but their was no confirmation of any sort.
But the recent reports suggest that not both of them but a new girl would get a chance to act opposite the handsome looking actor. The show will soon be making its way for the leap and all the present characters will come to an end. A source close to the show informed an entertainment portal that the new part of the show decision begin from 17th December, 2018 and that is when the new story in the show will unfold.
The source further said, "The show will be taking the much talked about generation leap from the 17th of December which will mark the beginning of the new season. Nakuul and Surbhi shot for the promo announcing the leap last night. The new comer will be joining the team soon."
A lot was said about the producer of the show Gul Khan and various hashtags such as #EndIshqbaaaz and #NoSurbhiNoIshqbaaaz started trending on the social media. Gul, later through a video that was posted by the channel said that some characters have to end to begin with a fresh start. The video was captioned as, "Beautiful stories create beautiful memories. Let’s cherish the memories of our wonderful six and welcome new beginnings. Thank you for all the love. #Ishqbaaaz"
Ishqbaaaz has been running on the TV screens for almost two and a half years now and the jodi of Shivaay and Anika has been receiving immense amount of love and support from the audience. It will now be an exciting watch if the new girl will be able to carry out the great chemistry in the show in the future.
