Here's a shocking piece of news coming up for all the Bigg Boss fans out there. The show hosted by Salman Khan will have a new season in the form of Bigg Boss 13 and previously there were reports that the show would not take place in Lonavala this year and now reports are pouring in claiming that the show will only have celebrities this year and no commoner contestants, considering the epic failure of Bigg Boss 12, the trophy of which was lifted by Dipika Kakar.
The concept of having commoners and celebrities as the contestants of the show began from the tenth season of the show in which Manveer Gurjar emerged out as a clear winner of the show. The last season has some names like Sreesanth, Deepak Thakur, Romil Chaudhary and Karanvir Bohra who became popular.
The latest reports suggest that there are a lot of changes that have been implemented by the makers for the next season. Yes, its true. A report by a leading portal suggest that commoners will not be a part of the show. Talking about the same, a closed source said, "This decision has been taken after the debacle from last year, where the choices of the commoner participants were questioned blatantly."
The participation of commoners in the show has also been observed in Bigg Boss 1, 2 and 6 but it became fully operation only from the tenth season. There have been a lot of commoner contestants who have gained a lot of popularity post the show as compared to the celebrity contestants and some of the names include those of Puneesh Sharma, Bandagi Kalra, Arshi Khan, Manu Punjabi, Nitibha Kaul and Luv Tyagi etc.
