Betaal: Netizens chant Hanuman Chalisa after watching first episode, call it ‘best Indian zombie series’

Many horror movies and series have been made in India, however, this is the first time a zombie series has been released. The web series named Betaal is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chilli Entertainment starring Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra in the lead role, has been released on Netflix on yesterday, 24th May 2020.

The horror thriller is based on Bilal Siddiqui’s book which revolves around a heart-aching battle between the CIPD and a battalion of zombies led by two-century-old Betaal. As soon as netizens watched the series they went berserk and started dropping their reviews and reactions regarding the horror flick. The show is creating an uproar on all social media platforms.

Twitterati calls the series one of the best Indian zombie series whereas another user said that after watching the first episode of the series he got so scared that he has to chant Hanuman Chalisa. The series has scared their wits out of the viewers, here check out the Twitter reactions:

 

Well not just the story, netizens are also applauding the work done by the VFX team, screenwriters and others for showcasing the spine-chilling story. They have compared Betaal with Hollywood’s horror films such as Conjuring and Walking Dead and said that Betaal has outshined all the horror films and series.
