Baahubali: The Beginning stormed the box office earlier this year, winning over audiences and critics alike. With its intriguing story line and phenomenal visual effects, the film went on to gross about Rs 600 crore worldwide.

Baahubali's award winning VFX seems to have inspired a new TV show, Maryada Purushottam Siya Ke Ram, which is set to premiere on Star Plus.

The show, which stars Ashish Sharma and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, claims to be a retelling of the Ramayana from Sita's point of view.

Promos of the serial have revealed visual effects that are uncannily similar to that of the SS Rajamouli blockbuster. Siya ke Ram is produced by Nikhil Sinha, who helmed the popular Devo Ke dev Mahadev show on Life Ok.

Watch the promo for the new show here and tell us what effects remind you of Baahubali.

Did you notice the Raj Mahal in the promo? Doesn't it look exactly like the giant Mahishmati from Baahubali?
