Anil Kapoor took quite a gamble when he brought the Hindi remake of Kiefer Sutherland's critically acclaimed 24 to Indian television audiences.
However, his efforts paid off and audiences took the series. The actor-turned-producer is currently shooting for the second season of 24 which is expected to go on air in April this year.

In the second season, Sikander Kher will be seen essaying the character of a drug lord. In an interview with Catch, Kher spoke about his experience with shooting for 24. He said:

To work with such an actor makes the job so easy. I play a drug lord. It is an amazingly written negative character and I have given it a different take."
The actor, who will next be seen in Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive also revealed that second season will be better than the first one.
"I start shooting for 24 again in March 2016. I have watched the first season and I absolutely loved it but I think the second season is way better than the first one. There are a lot of twists and turns, and the story will keep you engaged till the last episode".
