90's Rewind: After Shaktimaan, another Doordarshan hit show Dekh Bhai Dekh to re-telecast

As India is observing nation-wide lockdown due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, current TV shows have come to a standstill. So to keep the people entertained Doordarshan has announced to re-telecast their famous 80s and 90s shows. Earlier we gave you the good news that Ramayan, Mahabharat, Circus, Shaktiman has come to TV.

Now we have another good news for you all i.e the 90s hit show Dekh Bhai Dekh featuring the three generations of the Diwan family is all set to return on TV. Announcing the same on Twitter DD official wrote, “Watch iconic comic show #DekhBhaiDekh which beautifully shows the unique bonding between the three generations of the Diwan family at 6 pm ONLY on @DDNational”

Those who don’t know then let us tell you that this TV show was produced by Jaya Bachchan under the banner of Saraswati Audio Visuals Pvt Lt. while it was helmed by Anand Mahendroo. The show has a total of 65 episodes featuring Shekhar Suman, Farida Jalal, Navin Nischol, Bhavana Balsavar, Amar Upadhyay, Deven Bhojani, Satish Shah, Shammi, Daisy Irani, Rakhee Randon, among others.

Meanwhile, iconic shows Chanakya, Shriman Shrimati, are also marked to return to television after Ramayan, Mahabharat, Shaktiman and Circus.
