Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is all set to unveil its next device - a smart bike-like product - in an event in China on 23 June.
Xiaomi has kept the details of the gadget under wraps. A teaser of the product revealed red tail lights and headlamps. The front panel comprises an on-board display that shows speed, travelled distance and power. The power statistics indicates that this smart bike is likely to be rechargeable battery-operated product.
The Chinese tech-company has already unveiled a smart bike - the YunBike C1 - the final product of its investment in a startup.
The bike comes loaded with an electric motor, a slew of sensors, a 5,100mAh battery and the ability to run 55km before needing a recharge. The bike also comes with a Bluetooth connectivity option that helps display the speed, map and other important information on the connected device.
However at $3000, the bike is a tad bit overpriced. The soon-to-be-unveiled Xiaomi smart bike may have better or similar features at a reasonable price. We'll just have to wait and watch.
