Xiaomi has unveiled two devices at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2017). Surprisingly, neither is a smartphone. However, Xiaomi has launched a white variant of its bezel-less concept smartphone - Mi Max.
The company launched Mi TV 4, which is a 4K TV that will come in 49-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch variants.
The TV has a frameless design and is 4.9mm thin at its thinnest part, making it about 30% thinner than the iPhone 7. It is the first company to have the premium Dolby ATMOS audio setup and the ability to change its motherboard for later upgrades.
The TV will be available in China later this year. Mi TV 4 will run Xiaomi's PatchWall interface over the Android OS. It also tells you which movies to watch, thanks to its AI capabilities.
The TV will be shipped with Mi TV Bar speaker system that incorporates 10 speakers along with 2 wireless rear satellite speakers, a subwoofer and also Mi Port cable that connects the TV and speaker in a single switch.
Mi TV 4 will be available under $2000 (approximately Rs 1,36,000). The company says the TV will be available without Dolby ATMOS home theater for about $500 less.
