WhatsApp Latest Update: Now you can download the deleted media files again; know how!

WhatsApp has included a new update in its beta version v2.18.111 to re-download the deleted media from any WhatsApp folder along with fixing bugs with the latest update. In the past, If any user accidentally deleted his Whatsapp media folder, it was not possible for him to retract those files again. There are more than 1 billion people are using Whatsapp across the globe, they share big amount of personal data in the form of pictures, videos and documents with their friends, family and colleagues.

A report published by WABetaInfo states that Whatsapp has released a new feature to retract the deleted media files for its users. Now, users can redownload the lost media like pictures, videos, voice messages, documents etc. Users can update the messenger app to Whatsapp version 2.18.113, the new feature has been released between the WhatsApp version 2.18.106 to 2.18110.


Though you may be wondering if it is possible to download all the data deleted you have deleted from Whatsapp, it doesn’t allow to retract the media which are too old, It only allows you to download the data which is 30 days old. There is only one condition that, if you have cleared the conversation in which the concerned media file was received then it will not be possible to download that media file again.

Whatsapp has cleared many times previously that nobody can access the user's data and conversation in between even the WhatsApp itself, It is secured with an end to end encryption. Currently, this feature is only available for Android users and not for the iOS users.
