So Google launched its highly-anticipated Pixel range of smartphones, yesterday. And it turned out too be a damp squib. Not the launch, but the device! While the DXoMark rating of 89 for smartphone camera gives Pixel smartphones an edge over other high-end devices, including Apple iPhones, the product didn't quite impress. Why? For one, what's with the hefty price tag and unflattering design? And secondly, what the heck is 'Really Blue'?
As soon as Google Pixel and Pixel XL were launched, obviously, people took to Twitter (because, where else?) and started bashing the devices for being ridiculously overpriced and failing to meet expectations.

Google tried every bit to troll Apple but Twitter had something else in mind. Take a look at these mean tweets:
W/starting price Rs 57,000 in India for #Pixel, Google just wants people to trade their second kidney

PS: iPhone owns first kidney always
Verizon exclusive in the US.

Rs 57,000 in India.
Quite the recipe for a failure. #MadeByGoogle
Google Pixel handset prices start at Rs. 57,000/- in India. Matlab ke isko kharidne ke liye bhi kidney bechni padegi. 😂

I haven't gone through my notifications on my phone since before the #MadeByGoogle because I'm afraid of that endless list

I liked the Google Pixel during the event. But then I saw it's Indian pricing. #Fail #MadeByGoogle

When you pay 57k for a phone you naturally expect people to envy your phone which will definitely not happen in

“NOT AN UPDATE!” #madebygoogle
Those lines on Google's #Pixel that are similar to those on iPhone, I don't like them 😒#MadeByGoogle

So the #MadeByGoogle #Pixel phones don't have expandable memory, not waterproof, no removable battery. Clearly not aimed at @Android users
