Reliance Jio, LeEco join hands to for 'Welcome Offer' to give free data services

Chinese smartphone manufacturer LeEco has partnered with Reliance Jio for the latter's 'Welcome Offer' that will give free data services to users till the end of the year.

As part of its test launch, Jio has already partnered with nearly 20 brands to provide free 90-day unlimited calls and high-speed mobile broadband trials to 4G smartphone users.

People with handsets of companies including Sony, Sansui, Videocon, LG, Samsung, Micromax, Panasonic, Asus, TCL, Alcatel, HTC, Intex, Vivo, Gionee, Karbonn and Lava just have to walk into a Reliance Digital store to get the Jio SIM.

"With the vision and roadmap to provide integrated services leveraging the mobile as a platform, LeEco has successfully created the hardware, software and services ecosystem for enabling a seamless digital upgrade for our consumers," LeEco India COO, Smart Electronics, Atul Jain said.

This association with Jio will help users to fully unlock the potential of LeEco smartphones, he added.

The 'Jio Welcome Offer' would be available on Le 1s, Le 1s Eco, Le 2, Le Max and Le Max 2.
