Panasonic launches T50 smartphone at Rs 4,900 in India

Japanese electronic brand Panasonic has introduced a new budget smartphone, T50, in the Indian market at Rs 4,900.

The new device will run on Panasonic's SAIL interface and will be available in midnight blue, rose gold and champagne gold colours.

It is an app-driven smartphone which is also integrated into a specialised camera driven by its interface , SAIL, the company statement says.

It will feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA display that will give 480 x 854 pixel resolution. Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the phone boasts of 1 GB RAM and runs on 5.1 Android Lolipop operating system. It is laced with 8 GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The rear snapper 5 megapixel snapper is loaded with LED flash while there is a 2MP front facing camera. The 3G enabled phone is loaded with a light 1,600mAh battery.
