Google launches Google Lens for all the android users

Google has been the world leader when it comes to technology and innovation for some time now. With its flurry of services and tools, Google has brought a very fundamental difference in our lives. In the days of Yahoo mail, when Yahoo used to be the boss of e-mailing came Google with its Gmail to take the internet with a blow.

Google has been improving and improvising its services since its launch in 1998. The world has never before witnessed an invention so phenomenal. The plethora of information that Google has put at our fingertips was never accessible to the mankind before. The dawn of Google has been no less than the dawn of the information age certainly. Google's inventions have brought a revolutionary change in our lives that if put to its best use can take humanity as a whole, forward.

And Google has yet again come up with a new innovation called Google Lens. The feature has been the most talked about since it first saw daylight in Google's very own device Pixel 2. Google lens is a service that can read an image and inform the user about the object in the picture. Till now, this feature was restricted to Google Pixel 2, but the tech giant is now planning to roll out the feature for all Android phones via the Photos app.

Google announced the roll-out of the service for Android devices on March 6 through its twitter handle.

Google lens is a service that can read an image and inform the user about the object in the picture. Till now, this feature was restricted to Google Pixel 2, but the tech giant is now planning to roll out the feature for all Android phones via the Photos app.

The Google Lens requires you to focus your camera towards the object you want information about, it can be a building, a famous celebrity or something rare. One of the features of the Google Lens is that it has the ability to make a contact with a business card when scanned. On the Pixel 2, the option was seen in the Google Photos and Google Assistant app.
