Amazon is offering Redmi 5 at an unbelievable price of Rs 834 also with 100GB data from Jio

The e-commerce giant Amazon India has come up with a very lucrative deal for customers. Amazon is offering the popular smartphone Redmi 5 at an unbelievable discount. The smartphone currently sells for Rs 7,999 for the 16GB variant. Interestingly, Amazon has announced a cashback offer of up to Rs 11,000 that brings the cost of the smartphone down to Rs 7,165 and the new price after discount is Rs 834. However, customers need to note that the exchange offer may vary on the basis of the mobile phone they chose to trade with.


And this is not all Amazon is offering, with the super cheap smartphone, Amazon has also coupled this with the 'Jio Redmi Offer' to its customers and also an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 with 100GB 4G data.

Amazon has given a 10-day window for those who wish to replace their Redmi 5 if they find any defect in the device or are not satisfied by its performance.

Redmi 5 Specifications

The Redmi 5 runs on a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone will be available in as many as three RAM versions: 2GB, 3GB and 4GB. It will further be available in as many three storage versions: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, just like its predecessor. All the versions of the Redmi 5 will support expandable storage of up to 128GB via a hybrid micro-SD card slot. The Redmi 4 came with a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor which was clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU.

The only thing that has gone smaller on the phone is its battery. While the Redmi 4 came with a massive 4,100mAh battery, the Redmi 5 comes with a smaller 3,300mAh battery.

The Redmi 5 runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat-based MIUI 9. The Redmi 4 came with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.
