England and West Indies will aim to create history when they face each other in the World T20 final, which is expected to be a battle of power-hitting, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 3 April.

Eoin Morgan-side kicked off their T20 format's pinnacle tournament with the defeat against West Indies but they went on to win four matches in a row while Darren Sammy's side hammered hosts India by seven wickets in their semi-final clash in Mumbai to book their place in the summit showdown.

Earlier, Sammy said they would continue to remain destructive in the shortest-format of the game as the Windies are looking forward to their last step towards prestigious title.

The sixth edition of the World T20 final will see both England and West Indies bidding to become the first team to win the tournament twice.

Meanwhile, the West Indies Women's team have also booked their place in the finals and will take on Australia at the same venue.
