Current World Champion PV Sindhu has entered the pre-quarterfinals with a resounding win against former Olympic gold medallist Li Xuerui but Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal failed to qualify for the second round as she crashed out of the China Open after she lost to Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan.

Indian Badminton ace PV Sindhu beat Li Xuerui 21-18, 21-12 in just 31 minutes of play. Recreating her world championship form, PV Sindhu fabricated another brilliant display to get the better of China’s Li Xuerui, who came into this match with a 3-3 record against the world champion.
