Watch: Wild elephant seen charging at vehicle in viral video

A video of a full-grown elephant chasing a vehicle has gone viral on the internet, threatening the people.

In the video, an elephant can be seen going on its way in the jungle when a vehicle came close to taking the attention of the tusker. The furious jumbo then turns around and begins chasing vehicle with all its strength. In some parts of the clip, the tusker could be seen almost touching the vehicle with its trunk, and then the driver accelerates the vehicle to get rid of the wild tusker.

The 1 minute 22 seconds clip was shared on Twitter by IFS Surender Mehra with a caution note for the users. In the caption, he explained that the wild elephants are very aggressive and are capable of chasing for a long distance if they feel threatened.

The IFS officer also urged people to maintain a safe distance from these big tuskers if they are going on a safari.

“Elephants are not only big in size but also quite aggressive and capable of chasing for long distance, if they feel threatened..🐘 So keep a safe distance and don’t stay long for sightings,” reads the caption.
