Elephants are the largest mammals on Earth that possess great strength and are able to overpower any wild animals in the jungles. However, they are still peace-loving animals and prefer to stay calm. That is why we call them gentle giants.

These wild jumbos live in herds and love their little ones. Apart from their immense size and power, elephants are exceptionally smart creatures and have demonstrated their impressive mental capabilities time and time again.

They are shy animals and prefer to stay away from humans, but some of us try to disturb their privacy, making them nervous for no reason.

A similar incident was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda in which a man can be seen bothering a wild elephant in the name of making a video and showing its 'devotional side'.

In the 1.22-minute clip, a man can be seen coming out of his vehicle and approaching a wild elephant standing beside a road. The man gets really close to the wild tusker and performs 'Pranam', which scares the elephant. The elephant appears nervous and moves away from the man, but he continues to approach the wild animal. Despite being continuously bothered by the man, the gentle giant showcases immense patience and doesn't charge at the man who continually provokes it.

IFS Nanda urged people not to bother wild animals by engaging in 'idiotic antics'. "Anymore proof that elephants are gentle giants. But wild can be Wild anytime. Don't try these idiotic antics," he wrote in the caption.

Nanda also informed that the clip was shot in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri and the DFO officials arrested the man.

Since being shared the clip has accumulated over 1,30,000 lakh views and also received more than 1,490 likes. Twitter users in one voice agreed with the IFS officer's words, saying that the man was so lucky that the tusker didn’t attack him.
