Taken too far! Watch restaurant serves pasta in upside down wine glass; internet baffled

It is said that people first eat food with their eyes and then with their mouths, and chefs around the globe know this. Nowadays, restaurants are making an effort to attract customers' attention by making their dishes more visually appealing.

However, sometimes they go too far in trying to outdo their rivals.


In a similar vein, one restaurant took plating and presentation so seriously that it served a dish in a way that left customers baffled. The clip of the dish presentation has since gone viral on the internet.

In the clip, a waiter can be seen serving cheese pasta to a customer in a bizarre manner. He brings the dish in an upside-down wine glass with grated cheese on the base of the glass. The waiter then places the upside-down glass on a plate and pulls it away, allowing the pasta to slide onto the plate. Finally, he puts the grated cheese, which was originally on the base of the upside-down wine glass, on top of the pasta.

The video was shared a few days ago. Since being posted, the clip has accumulated more than 4.2 lakh views, and the numbers are only increasing. Additionally, the video has gathered close to 41,000 likes. People posted various comments while reacting to the video.

The video was shared by a Twitter user who goes by the name @proxyearner has baffled people and prompting them to ask a question that why the chef stuffed the dish into an upside down wine glass?

Since being shared the clip has raked up over 1.4 million views and more than 2400 Retweets.
