JDS MLA slaps college principal in front of colleagues, video goes viral

JDS MLA slaps college principal

A Janata Dal (Secular) leader slapped a college principal for failing to give proper informations about the ongoing development work for a computer lab.

An MLA from Mandya, identified as M Srinivas repeatedly slapped the principal of Nalwadi Krishna Raja Wediyar ITI College in front of his colleagues on Monday.


A video footage of the shocking incident has gone viral on social media. A lot of people criticised the MLA for treating the principal with no respect.

Witnesses of the incident reportedly said that Principal Naganad was unable to give proper information about the ongoing development work in the laboratory during the inauguration of the renovated ITI College.

Displeased by this, the JDS MLA admonished the principle and slapped him twice in front of his colleagues and other local politicians. Immediately, the people nearby tried to appease the MLA while the principal was standing in utter shock.

After a video of the slapping incident went viral on the internet, people expressed outrage and slammed the JDS leader for not respecting the principal of a college.

As maintained by a report in The News Minute, the President of the Government Employees Association Mandya District, Shambhu Gowda, on Tuesday, said that the matter will be brought to the notice of the District Commissioner.
