Almost gets chopped in half! Elevator carrying patient malfunctions; Watch viral video

Elevator carrying patient malfunctioned

A video clip showing a patient nearly getting chopped in half while being transported in an elevator has gone viral on internet.

In the video, hospital staff can be seen carrying the patient on a stretcher into an elevator. One of the staff moved the stretcher inside the elevator, even though the door is open, the elevator starts moving downwards, due to malfunction.  As the clip progresses, the patient can be seen dropping inside the moving elevator. The CCTV inside the elevator also shows the patient falling off the stretcher.


The video clip was shared a day ago by a Twitter user who goes by the name @bornakang. Since being shared, the clip has accumulated over 10.8 million views. The timestamp on the video showed that it was recorded on October 8 2022. The post doesn’t give details like when and where the incident occurred.

Most of the users said in the comment section that this is one of the worst nightmares.

"How is it even possible for an elevator to be that dangerously malfunctioning?", a Twitter user asked.

Another user said, "Good lord, this encapsulates so many people's nightmares, multifold.

"Oh my freaking God, how does this happen the last thing you want when going for surgery," said a third user.
