Watch : Rajinikanth gives New Year treat to fans with Kabali deleted scenes

​Seems like there is no stopping for the 2016 Rajinikanth blockbuster Kabali. The film, which had released on 22 July 2016 is still creating headlines even after completing 150-days of its theatrical release. Directed by P.A Ranjith, Kabali also starred Radhika Apte, Dhansika and Kishore.

On Friday, the maker of Kabali, Kalaipuli S Thanu quoted on his Facebook page that he will release the deleted scenes of the Thalaivar film as a New Year treat to Rajinikanth fans on Saturday. And as promised, the Theri maker released five deleted scenes from Kabali, and all of them had gone viral across social media networks within no time.

Upon it's release, Kabali opened to mixed reviews from critics and audience alike. However the Style Mannan film shattered many Box Office records by minting more than Rs. 100 crore worldwide in two-theatrical days. The film is the third highest grossing Indian film of 2016 after Salman Khan's Sultan and the recent Aamir Khan blockbuster Dangal.

Meanwhile, Kabali is all set for its grand release in Thailand. Interestingly, the Thalaivar starrer is the first Tamil film to be released in Thailand.Popular Thailand distribution company, Major Cinema Paragon will release Kabali in Thailand and reportedly the Thai version of the Thalaivar film is releasing in more than 100 screens across the Thailand. Kabali is scheduled to hit the Thailand screens on 5 January 2017.
