The teaser of the Mohanlal starrer has surpassed the record set by the teaser of recent Mammootty blockbuster The Great Father. Villain teaser has set this unique record in 3 calendar days whereas the teaser of Mammootty starrer took 5 days for the same.

Villain teaser features Mohanlal as retired cop, Mathew Manjooran. The film also stars Manju Warrier, Renji Panicker, Srikanth, Raashi Khanna, Vishal and Hansika Motwani.
