Vidya Balan to make Tamil debut opposite Rajinikanth in Kabali maker's next?

It's known that Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and director PA Ranjith are all set to team up for another Tamil project after the success of Kabali. Last year, Rajinikanth's son-in-law and Tamil actor-turned-film producer Dhanush had confirmed that his banner, Wunderbar Films, will be bankrolling the Kabali actor-director duo's film.

Earlier there were reports circulated that a Bollywood actress will be paired opposite Thalaivar in the film.

And if recent reports are to believed, Vidya Balan has been finalised as the leading heroine of Rajinikanth in the yet-to-be-titled film.

Vidya Balan confirmed the news at a book launch in Mumbai this afternoon. The film also marks her Tamil debut.

An official confirmation on this is expected to be announced in next two days.

Vidya Balan's 2017 line-up includes Begum Jaan and Tumhari Sulu.
