US Box Office : Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150 crosses $ 2 million mark to become the third Telugu film with highest opening weekend

Telugu actor Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150 is doing good business overseas, especially at the US Box Office. Directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Chiranjeevi's son and actor-producer Ram Charan, the film is a Telugu remake of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster Kaththi.

After crossing $ 1 million mark from the US premiere shows alone, the film has now got into the coveted $ 2 million club.

The action-entertainer has registered excellent occupancy almost everywhere​ and ​was rock steady throughout the opening weekend. From it's 5-day weekend, ​Khaidi No 150 has minted $​ ​2,002,531​ to become the​ third Telugu film with highest opening weekend after SS Rajamouli's Baahubali : The Beginning and Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu.​ The Chiranjeevi starrer also emerged as the fourth Tollywood film to cross $ 2 million mark after ​Baahubali, Srimanthudu and Nitiin - Samantha - Anupama starrer A..Aa.

​​​Khaidi No 150​ will be aiming to cross ​​​the collections of A..Aa​ ($ 2.45 million) ​and Srimanthudu​ (​​$ 2.89 million) by the end of second weekend.​
