Mohanlal's Pulimurugan opened to a fantastic response at the UAE Box Office. The opening shows at most of the cinemas across UAE have been sold out across the cinemas.

The Lalettan starrer also created history as Pulimurugan makers confirmed to Catch that their film is releasing in 432 screens across UAE. With this, Pulimurugan has emerged as the biggest Indian release ever in UAE beating the likes of 2016 blockbuster films Kabali and Sultan. Upon its release, the Thalaivar film released in 425 screens while the Sultan released in around 225 screens. At Dubai and Bahrain, few special fans shows are scheduled to be screened in the evening.

As per early morning show reports, Pulimurugan is all set to shatter the opening records of Kabali and Sultan at UAE Box Office. Be it in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Alain, Fujairah, and Sharjah , there isn't a single ticket available to catch the four-time-National award winner's flick on its opening day. Even the night shows have already been sold out.

This is also the first time ever an Indian film is getting such a big response in UAE. And with this hype, it's clearly evident that Pulimurugan is all set to break the top opening records set by Kabali and Sultan.

Directed by Vysakh and produced by Tommy Mulakuppadam, the film stars Lalettan in the titular role of a hunter, Murugan. The Malayalam blockbuster also stars Bengali actress Kamalini Mukherjee and Telugu actor Jagapati Babu.

Meanwhile, Pulimurugan is nearing its one-month theatrical run at the Kerala Box Office. The film, which had released on 7 October in Kerala, has so far minted Rs. 56 crore at the Kerala Box Office.
